It’s a nice jointer and looks to be in great shape. You’ve also got some nice extras. It’s all a matter of opinion, but since you asked, $500 is more than I’d be willing to pay, and more than I would have recommended paying for a used 6” jointer. They were selling new in the $600-$700 range not so long ago, which included a warranty and support from a dealer, a portion of which are built into the price….since those benefits no longer apply to a 2nd owner, IMO there’s no reason they should be reimbursed to the original owner who’s the sole beneficiary of them. It’s also a very similar tool to many that sold new in the $400-$550 range, and at one point was made in the same factory as the similar Griz 1182, Sunhill, Woodtek, Bridgewood, King, Craftex, and possibly the Ridgid and others. None of this is saying you don’t have a fine jointer ….you do, so enjoy.
