Thanks everyone. I went ahead and bought a FTG Frued ripping blade. We’ll see how that works. I like the idea of re-purposing an older carbide blade for this application. I have an older sears 40 tooth that might be just the ticket. This is a light duty shallow depth application and won’t benefit much from the modern coatings etc. Thanks again for the good comments. -- Tom |
