It's a great place you will love it. Everything is top notch and a great learning facility. Depending on what class you are taking plan on some long days and nights. But that's all part of the learning experience at the school. It's a lot of informational over load. Take lots of notes and a camera. If you have any pacific questions please feel free to ask.
What course are you planning to take and what instructor?
I am looking at a weekend class first. I need to get better at Finishing. The Basics of Wood Finishing with Mitch Kohanek. Looks like the weekend will be packed with info.
Marc Adams is a fantastic school. I've been there for many classes and it's amazing how much can be learned in a short amount of time with a master. The facilities and staff are top notch. They also have opportunities for scholarships. I was selected to spend 8 weeks this summer at the school as an intern. Looking forward to it and maybe I'll see you there!
I've taken several classes from Marc and they have all been excellent. Even as a professional woodworker I learned a tremendous amount from his classes.
I've spent many weeks there over the past several years and am going back for two more classes this year. Mitch Kohanek isn't one of the instructors I've had but I have spoken to several people who did take his classes. All of them said he's a great teacher.
