A big part of that video is about 1.5 million Obama gave to the muslim brotherhood. You really should go read the entire text of Obama’s speech he made in Egypt. It contains US/islam healing things but remains tough indicating that we will always be tough on terrorists. As far as the 1.5 million. It’s going to Egypt. It’s a much smaller amount than we give to other places. Heck Both Obama and Bush gave tons more than that to Iraq. This is another reason why a lot of people think the right wing often is ruled by crazies. They have prophets and soothsayers that take the news and twist it up until it doesn’t even make sense any longer. Women feel under attack.. more than half the population. Union members feel attacked. A big part of the population. Poor people, the list goes on. Heck even our illustrious tea party governor here in Maine the other day made a speech saying that the people who work for the state are all corrupt. Google it.. Lepage from Maine. He’s nuts. Literally nuts. He’ll be going the way of Wisconsin’s governor soon. I used to be a Regan Republican but I’m no looney. Regan would be ashamed. I know I am. Here’s a part of his speech that deals with the money ”We also know that military power alone is not going to solve the problems in Afghanistan and Pakistan. That is why we plan to invest $1.5 billion each year over the next five years to partner with Pakistanis to build schools and hospitals, roads and businesses, and hundreds of millions to help those who have been displaced. And that is why we are providing more than $2.8 billion to help Afghans develop their economy and deliver services that people depend upon.” You can read the whole speech here It is actually being critiqued as outstanding and one of the best speeches ever given by a head of state in a foreign land. The guy’s not perfect but he’s got the chops to make it all sound good. -- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful. http://gagnerwebsite.com/Deceiver/Craftsman_on_the_lake/Craftsman_on_the_lake.html |
