Looks like the cut ends are starting to check. I’d cut those off, down to the beginning of the burl. Then split the burl in half top to bottom along the grain line of the trunk (difficult to do on a bandsaw safely, I’d wedge it in my cutting stand and split it with a chainsaw using a milling/rip chain). You’ll have to look at the grain to decide how you want to mount them.

I just did an Alaskan Sitka spruce burl a bit bigger than the one in your picture, using the cut I described above. I ended up with two turning blanks, I turned one with the trunk side as the base, the other with the trunk side as the top. Both came out beautifully. This is the one with the trunk side as the bowl rim. You can see the other half of the burl and how I cut it, sitting behind and to the right of the finished bowl. That piece was turned with the trunk side as the base and the burled portion as the rim.
