I am hesitant to shoot finish because I don’t have a dedicated finishing space. The last thing I want is that sticky crap all over everything in my shop. Even if I set up curtains I’m worried about it traveling places I don’t want it to go. I guess I could shoot it outside but I’m sure with the pollen this time of year that would be a lost cause instantly. Also this may sound stupid, but woodworking is kind of personal to me. I’d prefer to put the finish on by hand rather than shoot it. I’m still young and new to this, so I fully expect that mentality to change.

One of these days I’ll have a 39 ford pickup to restore with a custom teak bed, if they are still around when my youngest moves off to college in 2030.
