Is it just me but are there a lot of adds on our personal pages on l.j. that were not there before? It was nice to be part of this site for a long time, with no hassles from advertisers, like pop ups and the like. but now they are all over the site! It's one thing that they are on the side bar( which i find annoying as it is) but now there in our personal info pages! It's basically spam that we can't delete.we have no control over it. You roll over it and it pops up in your face. If i'm wrong, please tell me how to get rid of it. If not, then it's probably time to go to another site.--what do you-all think?

Tell you what. Go ahead and go find us all a website with as much to offer as Lumberjocks that is free to run and so has no ads. We'll all be right behind ya!

I'm just messing with you, but the point holds true. Websites cost money. Big sites like this one cost a LOT of money. We can't expect it all to be given to us for nothing. The price we pay is a few ads. Same as with television, radio, you name it. I've been ignoring TV commercials for my whole life, I figure I can live with a few ads on a site as great as Lumberjocks!

Get real. Life gives us head colds, the flu, cancer and a million other things we find annoying. We can still enjoy life and want to avoid as many of these annoying things as possible. Go to: adblockplus.org It installs for free…...........

Hey guyzzzzz, that tip for no ads in your face is great! check it out. for those who like ads in your face, just ignore this site-adblockplus.org. If they want ads on this site, they should keep them on the side to the right like they were for some time. It's not enjoyable to think your going to see one thing when you put your courser over it and get a wall-mart add instead. I don't know about you but I refuse to be conditioned to it.
