I have a colleague that really likes his. He cuts around the property with the cordless mower then mows the inside with a reel mower. It’s amazing how much nicer the lawn looks where the reel cuts but I think that’s simply a function of the reels cutting so cleanly. I think any mower with a sharp blade will work about the same. I don’t recall him complaining about the battery life and his yard is decent size.
