Oh no, if you can handle the weight and electrical for sure I’d go with the 1023. What the 0690 has going for it is that it uses less electricity, might save some pennies on the electric bill. Keep an eye on Grizzly, some times they have seasonal sales, like a summer sale. Oh yeah, one other thing if it matters. I think the Polar Bear series (690) is built in China and the 1023 is built in Taiwan. Some folks say the Taiwan stuff is better.
