Lumberjocks is a great site. I found this when I googled a woodworking question.
I have often found answers to my questions here from very informed and experienced fellow woodworkers.
I try to take the time to help others as well.
This is how we collectively learn, grow and benefit from this community.
As for other sites, I can’t say.
I must’ve found this thread after the edits of negative/offensive comments already occured.
This topic looked to me, at first blush, to be praise for LJs and less criticism of SMC, which it appears is what the moderators would like to stear towards.
This seems to be a commendable objective to me as no one really benefits from being negative.
