One of the differences between Lumberjocks and all other forums I’ve been too is the users. When I signed up 104 days ago, I was welcomed by four people on my profile. I dismissed these welcomes as robots. Hospitality on the Internet? It’s too good to be true! I later realized these were actual users that contribute to Lumberjocks. Another difference is the equality of users. I have never once seen a flashy title saying, “Moderator”. I’ve been on some forums where the moderators needed a slap in the back of the head with a chainmail glove. I went on a forum to ask a question and a moderator gave some advice to someone which was clearly incorrect and it was pointed out by another user.
