I have the same setup, I don’t do anything much.
Mainly because the blade won’t come anywhere near the fence unless you were to remove the blade guard :)

Also note that unless you were touching the fence when the blade hit the fence (or it otherwise was grounded to complete a circuit), it wouldn’t brake. So uh, make sure you follow the setup guide so that your fence is being held above the cast iron table.

The brake cartridges (v2) also now have a small plastic covering so that metal shavings hitting it don’t trigger it.
