if you have to follow the advice to get the best tools as possiple
you can either spend a fortune or take the slippery slope of buying used tools
and then restore/refurb them yourself

for the tools in the mittlerange price I can´t advice you other than chec out some of the rewiews
here and on the net you can be lucky and find new good tools in stores

for my self I have gone down the slippery slope and restore tools since I´m on a very tight budget
deffently not the fastest or easyest way of doing it …. but its fun to change knowledge/swett/tears
and sometimes blood too for the money I can use in other places :-)

to restore/refurb tools is a skill that takes time to get and if you don´t have that
or want to use the time to do it ... well that´s up to you …. woodworking has to be fun :-)

take care and good luck with the hunt

Dennis
