Karson, Try handing them a $10, a couple of $1s and some odd change. When you get a $5 and a quarter in change, they wonder how did that guys do that? ;-))

My kids and grand-kids have never had a problem with spontaneous answers to such simple problems. They all went to public schools as did I. I don’t know that there is really any more of a problem now than there always has been. I have noticed through out my career as an electrician and my son as a network administrator, how many people there are that do not really have a good basic foundation. They just get by, but are really not competent or really capable of without being told what to do.
