Since it looks like you are going to use a lot of different tools and will have to store them somewhere.

Have you thought about making a base for each different tool. This way you could make the height correct for each one.

You could make the way they mount to the cabinet identical.

You could then make a storage cabinet to store all you pre-mounted tools in to save space by stacking them up.
