Great review. But I have to say it is difficult to compare the Worksharp to the Jet or Tormek because they are totally different systems, with massively different prices!
I like the Worksharp because it is affordable. If I had a thousand extra bucks, I’d get a Tormek. But since I have a Worksharp, I did a lot of upgrades that I think make it even better. I did two different episodes of Blue Collar Woodworking on it. The latest one shows how to use your own Tormek bar setup (which cost $20 instead of the $50 Worksharp wants for theirs)
The second video shows how to use MDF discs and buffing compound instead of the expensive sandpaper they sell.
Anyway, thanks for the great review! I’ll bookmark it for future reference!
