We just harvested 22 mature trees and have cut 2 in order to determine the yield. We are cutting 5/4 and 9/4 and have been getting about 30 bd ft / tree with 10” to 12” width. Next week we will mill the remaining 20 logs.

If anyone wants any special cuts they need to let us know.

For the 4/4 we will be air drying for about 8 months and then putting in the kiln. For the 9/4 we will need to air dry about 12 months and then send to the kiln. This means you will be waiting a year for the wood, but there’s nothing we can do to speed the process. We haven’t set a price yet, but will go with whatever is the current market price.
