Rick, what a wonderful post. You expressed so well exactly how I have felt. I have lots of “favorites” that I keep for various reasons. Either I want to build one like it or I want to show it to someone or there is a feature on that one particular project that I want to use later on, or on and on and on. You really hit the nail on the head with your post. (altho you probably couldn’t hit a damn thing with your .30) To add to my comment here, something I should have said long ago. This site is a treasure-trove full of inspiration, friendship, great ideas, etc. I don’t buy ANYTHING without checking it out here first, and almost always go with LJ recommendations I don’t build anything without checking what others have done to learn the hows and whys. LJ’s has actually added much positive to my life as I get much more satisfaction from better tools, better projects, learning the right stuff, etc. So, thanks for posting such a great comment, and thanks to all the LJ’s who inspire and teach me so much (and include yourself in that list). |
