the knick in the blade is no big deal, even if you are planning to replace the knives. If they are not dull, you can just slide one blade a slight bit to one side and it will make the ridge go away by offsetting the knicks. I don’t mess with touching up paint on tools, but yes, easy enough to get a custom match.
