Rick L=Thanks for the input. I questioned the use of the Power Twist belt. I thought they were too expensive & wouldn’t make that much of difference. However, I went ahead and purchased 4’ of belt. Much to my surprise, I received about 6’ in the mail! After replacing my BS belt (the old belt was twisted), I found I had enough left over to replace the cogged belt on my table saw. It really didn’t need replacing, but I did it anyway. The results were amazing! I noticed right away that it was quieter and had less vibration. It even passed the nickel test! So, although the price is probably about 3 times what a cogged belt would be, I think it is worth the buy as it is a long lasting product.
I checked the HF site. Their belt is about 40% less than the (red) Power Twist belt, so I think I’ll go that route.
