I bought the Rikon for it’s resaw capacity. True the bottom guide is tricky to adjust but, all in all it’s the best saw out there for the money. A few months ago I found a Ridgid 14” bandsaw on Craig’s List for $125 and it’s setup with a 1/4” blade to cut everything that needs sharp turns or that is less than 7” tall. At least the Jet now comes with more resaw capacity and doesn’t require a riser kit. You won’t be able to tell which saw was used when you look at your finished woodworking projects.
