A friend has one and he set it off once, via not adjusting the “blade gap”. Actually it was a sanding disc, which evidentially is slightly larger than a 10” blade. I was not there, I have heard when it does fire it moves the machine, but he said it was loud but didn’t rock the machine much.

I have been giving him grief for years about being to cheap to buy a table top disc sander—-this really played into my hand!!!

Three of us bought an SS the same day—he is the only one so far.
