I know, from paying attention, that it can happen, and that—traditionally—SS has been very generous about free replacements, primarily to figure out what happened, and whether they need to tweak their design.

You can probably find specific info by googling “sawstop misfire” or “false trigger” or “false positive.”

It seems VERY rare, as a percentage of users and hours or use, from what I’ve seen.
