I went for the first time a few years ago. I thought I had to buy one of everything there. Ended up walking out of there with a woodpeckers router table that I later sold. Make no mistake, this is more of swap-meet than a show and the prices aren’t really better than what you can get online anyway, but there are some nice displays and classes/product demos that I have found very informative. I spent a lot of time at the Lee Valley/Veritas booth just trying out new planes.

Long story short, go if you have something that you want to buy but not if you want a once in a lifetime deal. Go if you want to spend the day learning and piddling about with other woodworkers. I’ll be there. What else am I going to do, cut the grass?
