Those little differences make a difference.

I would absolutely go with the spiral cutterhead on the powermatic. Straight blades are a thing of the past. People with straight knives will disagree.

You most likely won’t see a great deal of difference in planing on shelix or griz cutterhead.

I don’t know where you are located ,but before you order from woodcraft ,check to see if you have an industrial woodworking machinery dealer in your area. Most dealers do carry powermatic and other manf. Your service will be better .
