Hi friends

I have posted in the past saying I hit 20.000 comments and had a lot of feedback anywhere from "big deal" to "get a life" to "congrats" So I debated about saying anything this time when I'm about to hit the 50,000 comment mark but I thought it was a good opportunity to tell all of you how grateful I am for you sharing your projects, positive feedback and sometimes just telling my I'm wrong about any particular subject, regarding certain operations in woodworking or other wise . I try to be a positive force on Ljs but have had my off days like anyone,so to those I might have offended let's start anew.
One thing I think that is important is to make new folks feel welcome ,so may I suggest that you take some time and welcome new folks or even those who have not had any comments on the projects that they have posted, to me having things positive and encouraging others makes LJs a better place .
I'm glad there is a LJs to all share and learn together.

Congratulations on the post count.

I think you're doing a great thing for Lumberjocks. When I signed up, I got messages on my profile welcoming me. This surprised me and I thought it was a robot, but it really was a user being friendly. I've never experienced an online forum welcome before and I've accounts on many different forums.

I'm going to throw off my usual slouch, stand up straight and salute you Jim. 'A1' is certainly an appropriate moniker for you. If there is anyone on this board that has contributed as 'faithfully' as you, I am unaware of it. As Mr. Spock might say, "Live long and prosper".

Hello Jim,
Positivity is just a must isn't it? It's people like you that make this site so much more enjoyable. All of the posts I've read that you make are positive & helpful. So keep on making them, you have always thought my stuff was good. So, congrats on your 50,000 posts, keep it up!

Tell you what Jim. With you i know that at least one person will look at my humble projects and give some positive feedback.

In fact, to take a little different perspective. If a project of mine doesn't get a comment from you then I would consider it to officially suck. :^)
