Thanks for the feedback. I’m remiss to buy a used saw due to the heavy wear that most of the ones I’m able to find seem to have. They are mostly coming out of shops that put quite a bit of use on them. I don’t need a very heavy duty saw, per say, either. I just need one that is accurate and has dust collection and a riving knife for safety. The other piece is that I have a basement shop, and no truck so local shipping or local pickup using a rented trailer is the best option.

It seems as if Laguna has recently overhauled their business and I suppose this is my real question: have they, and if so, has it made any difference in their customer service and the reliability of their products?
