I had a similar experience with my old Ryobi sander. Normal pads were sticking fine but after throwing the Abranets off a few times the sander pad is wrecked. Just picked up some Abranet backing pads today and will try (which I probably should have used originally). However I have a bad feeling I’ll need to replace the sander pad (or sander). Otherwise the Abranet pads work great.
