Hi guys. I recently bought a Grizzly G0715P for my birthday. I upgraded from a bosch 4100. I wanted something with a little more power and a better fence. I've had the polar bear for a few weeks now and at first it was great. Tonight when I went out to cut a piece of plywood, the saw just completely bogged. When I turned it on, it only sounded like it was running at half power. I put a new blade in it and even with slight pressure, the blade would bog and just stop.
The first thing I checked was the wiring. It's a 220 circuit with a dedicated 20 amp breaker (the saw is rated at 16/8 amps). My first thought was somehow I dropped a leg on the voltage, but I've got 240 at the wall and 240 at the switch. I powered on the saw and there's 240 motor side as well so I know it's getting power to the motor. Visibly I don't see anything wrong at the motor, but there isn't much you can tell from looking at it.
I'll call grizzly on Monday morning. I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems with their table saw or had any other suggestions.
Thanks!
