I figured out why it wouldn’t come off. The set screw in the center was getting jammed by the jaw that was out of alignment with the others. Somehow one of the jaws was too far out when compared to the other 2 jaws. The set screw in the center was jammed and couldn’t be taken out. I ended up having to cut of the chuck to get the set screw out of the center.

It took a while and a couple of cut off discs for my Dremel tool but I git it off. Now, once I get the new chuck I will put a small drop of “Never-Seize” on the threads. That should make it easier to get off, if I ever have to in the future.
