That is a pretty good deal. It is about the same price that I get my rough cherry ($3.40 a bf for FAS) here in Kentucky. And the guy I get it from, while he only sells lumber, has been in the business for many years and is extremely knowledgeable about wood and woodworking. It is hard to get away from him because he and I both enjoy talking about wood. He lives about 50 miles from my home and I always plan a buy early on a Saturday morning so that I don’t have to rush and we have plenty of time to just talk after loading the truck.

Dealers like mine and Richard help make woodworking even more enjoyable.
