Ah, but there is still another backsaw in the shop that needs a wood handle installed. The second blank will do that job nicely. There is also a POWERKRAFT handsaw ( crosscut style) that MIGHT get a new Oak handle. Not sure about re-doing all that carving though: At least with the other backsaw, there are three sawnuts to use. I can also re-use the PK saw’s nuts as well. What kind of finish goes with Oak in a handle like this? Looks like I might have three handles to finish up…. -- A Planer?
