The JTS10-DD saw is a compact direct drive saw that has a universal motor that’s very likely proprietary to that model, meaning you’ll need an exact replacement if you do replace it. You might be able to repair it (check the brushes and switch contacts), or use another saw as a donor, but it’s probably cost prohibitive to buy a new motor for it even if one is available. If you’re mechanically and electronically inclined, you might be able to rebuild it from off the shelf parts of the same size and values, but I honestly don’t think that saw is worth the effort. Ereplacementparts.com shows the rotor assembly as unavailable.

A full size belt drive contractor saw has more upside potential and is more worth repairing long term if necessary….you might find a good used one for what it’d cost to fix the Jet DD.
