Charge what the market will bear and not a penny less.

It doesn’t matter if all you did was nail a couple of sticks together with rusty nails found in the gutter if you can get a gozillion dollars for it then, take it.

So before you contemplate what a thing is worth, first, understand your potential client base – the market – and price accordingly.

You will also have to put things before that client population that meets their level of sophistication and fulfills their expectations or they won’t be looking at your stuff no matter how low or high you price it.

It’s all about balance. Balance your ability to meet or exceed the market’s expectations with the market’s ability to pay.
