Those driers should have disappeared by the time the BLO is fully cured, but… given that it is a baby cradle, I’d err on the side of caution and go with Dick’s suggestion.

Get some good quality FRESH shellac flakes and make up a small batch of it. You can apply new coats of shellac every two hours or so (easily, with a cloth), sanding between coats. Top it off with a good wax finish, and you shouldn’t have much problem with it, even if the baby does use it as a teething ring…
