CR1, I’ll research a bit but I’m pretty confident that there are sensors in the phone that operate the level. I know there are accelerometers and magnetometers.

Well, I gotta say, that’s packing a lot more into the phone than I’d have imagined. I have been shocked at the ability of those slinny tiny itty bitty little things to do the things advertised like play movies and surf the web AND be a phone. Next they’ll be packing 60 Gig solid state Hard drives do your word processing, Run a 3-D engineering CAD package, and Photoshop too. ( or are they already there?).

BUT~!! My Fellow members of the bar this has put me to mind of a whole new data feed for discovery demands in auto accident and other cases. – - – - – - – - Because – - – - – - –
Damn phone knows exactly how fast the person was going when he hit your client and broke his spine, what angle he was coming from and quite possibly if he was accelerating or braking. Might even be a more data there than in the Car’s chip for cars that have a chip.
Always demand digital data in original digital format that your tech extracts.
