For the very reason you mention, I recommend a good gun with a pressurized cup instead of a siphon cup. I have the apollo atomizer and can dial in the size spray small. (make sure you have a non bleeder gun). I like the pps cups as well. One of the best changes I made was the 3m PPS cups (small ones). they are single use, but worth it. And you can seal in between coats. You can sparay from any angle.

You can try to blend in and Worst case, sand it down and do over. I’ve had to do it before not pleasant but looks better.
