The Tersa blade system is a fantastic idea. VERY easy and simple to change. The only problem I see is the Casadei planer itself. The bearings do not last very long. I work in a millwork shop, and we changed the bearings every few months, until we got our Felder planer. For the first few months that planer worked great, but we began having issues with table calibration, electronics, and eventually, bearings and, ultimately, the motor itself. Felder sent us a new planer, which, for the first year, worked without any problems, then bearings would go every 3-4 months. We now have a Martin. FABULOUS machine!!! Very Heavy, but it is built to last! Their jointer is a real pleasure to use as well. Don’t waste your money. buy something good the first time!
