In hind-sight though.. I did just post a non topic.. without engaging the woodworking of this string, which is not my norm.. my bad … sorry to everyone. I hand cut all my dovetails, though I don’t find uses for them often. I have one dozuki saw and one set of pairing chisels dedicated to fine joinery that if my assistant touches I will break his fingers. LOL, but I have done bands saw and table saw ones, when they didn’t have to be pretty only efficient. But I really need to get or make one of those cutting tools in the video.. I have seen other japanese workers use this… that tool that looks like a marking gauge, but cuts across the grain.. and deep enough there is no pairing or sawing.. anyone know how to get one or make one? Or what it is called?
