I feel it is high. And I have a preference for shapers. I see small delta, jet and craftman shapers that have 1 or 1.5 hp induction motors on CL for 200 or less. Just yesterday I found a grizzly g1024 for 200.00 that would have been a decent deal.

I personally have not used or had a router in our shop for about 3 years. This being said, I just bought our first unisaw. I have a 3.5 hp milwaukee with above table features and it is so under utilized. I plan to purchase a cast iron router wing and place that beast in the unisaw. I dont really have a vision for it’s use at this time though.
