TexasTimbers, How are ya?
I’m little bit overwhelmed at the size, so I want to marvel at it while the feeling lasts.

Also, mostly all of it is solid. I harvested it at the right time(gravity), when I sliced into it toward the center, water or juice actually poured out. I think that stuff helps in its natural defense against powder post grubs or boring pests. I also spray insecticide all over it for some safety.
I want to let the sapwood dry for few months cause I get sap buildup on my blades and they dont rip so well. Nothing like new blades for milling.
Yes it is Honey Mesquite. Honey and Velvet are what’s available hear.
