Some pictures might help but in my opinion less is more. Just wipe the dust off and leave it like it is. Anything you do to embellish might detract from the fact that it lasted all these years. If it lasted all these years neglected in the attic, it doesn’t need protecting.. If the goal is to make a tribute, I would think about a frame or even put it behind some glass for example.
