I am wondering would a Paslode F350 Framing Nailer work on my Bostitch Trim Air Compressor? Someone told me my compressor wont work with a framing nailer because its to small. I think its 1.5 gal.
The worst that happens, you pause between runs of nails. I used something similar when nailing up the walls on an addition I did. The thing kicked on a lot.
I have the same nailer and it should probably work with your compressor as long as you don't try any rapid nailing.
If you do you will see stair stepping on the nails as the air drops off.
Smaller nails maybe not so much but definitely on the 3.5 inch nails.
When I framed my shed I ended up getting a 4.5 gal and that solved it. Try it and see though since you already have the compressor.
The smaller compressor should only affect pace. Impatience would be rewarded with proud nails but I have seen construction workers frame with that size of compressor many times. I have also seen that size used with a palm nailer, which can be demanding as well. Just the sacrifice that is made when you want to deal with less weight.
