I bought the Ridgid about a year ago on sale at HD. I considered the Griz but this was on sale and made up for the 10% sales tax in TN, vs the shipping from Griz. So far it has worked fine. I have used pine, cherry, oak and walnut and it has plenty of power and seems to cut clean. If money were not an issue, I would have moved up to a Powermatic or Jet, or a larger Griz with a helical head. An 8” would be nice, and definitely a longer table, but that isn’t what you are asking. The only issue I have had is that over time the fence will slowly move out of square with the table. Just something I have to monitor. I would say about 90%+ of the chips go into the DC without any clogging. I ended up putting casters on the legs, which makes it a little wobbly, but works. I don’t think you will go wrong with either.

Good luck.
