Thanks, Al! I think I’ve got a few of them on my iPod, but it’s amazing how many of my favorite songs from them, and others, you won’t find on it. I’ve burned CDs and DL’ed them over the years, but it is kinda strange. In fact, I’m looking at my iPhone right now and I have exactly 5 Beach Boys songs on it. Now, I’m not a rabid Beach Boys fan (I do like them), but many more than 5 of their tunes deserves to be on my devices! Of course, back in the day, I pretty much had all the Beach Boys tapes. Same with Chicago and Billy Joel. I’ve since burned all my CDs of Billy Joels Greatest Hits, but many other still remain unaccounted for. Ooh, I have 2 songs by Genesis…lots of the Phil Collins solo stuff, but few of the original Genesis. 2 songs by the Police as well. Okay, now I’m depressed that I haven’t kept up with this. I think I’ll just make a point of doing a massive iTunes session and get all that great music. At least I have tons of Stevie Ray Vaughan to keep me happy in the meantime!!! -- jay, www.allaboutastro.com |
