Editing Errors

When I comment on a member's post, I miss not being able to edit my spelling and grammatical errors after posting. You know what it's like; you read and re-read your post before committing - but damn, when you do, the errors just jump off the page.

Would it be possible to have an "edit" option stay on the poster's view of his/her post for 12 hours, then disappear? It would help the verbally challenged like me.

Don, I'm planning to add this feature.. thanks for pointing to it. Editing on comments and replies will be time-limited.

And great tip, Dick. New Firefox has built-in spell checker.

BTW. Hope you like improved text input widget (with bold, italic … toolbar, preview and I need more room button) that I've released yesterday.

Thanks, Martin. Great improvement. As for spelling errors, spell checkers don't distinguish between meet and meat, etc, and of course don't address grammatical errors. So the ability to correct these kinds of mistakes will be good "word-putty".

Don,

Grammar correction, I wish someone could invent something like that. I need help real bad in that category.

Hey Martin.
You'd fit right in up here on the Iron Range of Northern MN. This area is a melting pot of people from all over the world. They came here during the start of iron mining in the early 1900s.
If your from Da Range, The people, especially those in Minnesota know what to expect from your grammar, if you're from Da Range

Martin,
I forgot to mention that I have a son who lives in Arkansas. I always thought the people in AR talked funny, but sometimes they would approach my wife, or me, & would ask if we were from Germany, or Holland. My wife even had a German girl come up to her in a bookstore once, & asked her if she was from Germany.
