I thought you said “drum sander” in which case I assumed you were referring to the belt that pulls the wood past the sanding drum.
Belt sander / belt conveyor; same difference. Principle is the same and the parts have the same names. In fact, the conveyor belt on drum sanders is often a large sanding belt used as a conveyor.
