I can’t wait for them to do QE III ~!! Last time they reached into my retirement savings and devalued it to the tune of 20% with a de facto 20% unconstitutional tax on every dollar I owned. And not one vote was taken. There were only about 800- billion actual dollars in the world before QE I & QE II. They injected 20% more freshly minted entirely worthless dollars into the currency stream and the only way those bits of paper could have any value is by taking value from all the rest of the currency, which meant that every other dollar on the planet instantly became worth 20% less. This means of course that I have to work all that much longer and harder against a struggling economy and constantly devaluing dollar for god knows how many years before I can retire. And once I do retire, you just know they will be looking at QE V and QE VII and on and on – forever stealing the hard earned value I socked away upon which to live out my golden ( ha ha ha) years. I wish I’d bought gold at $600. -- When the moderator chooses sides, his site sucks. |
