Saw it in a bookstore recently for $30. Didn’t pic it up cause I was really short on cash. But it is by far one of the best “wood identification” books on woods native to the US. I just wish that there were more exotics listed, as well as woods the common woodworker might find. Problem is, it’s a three inch thick book as is, showing each and every wood, raw and in color photos, flatsawn, quartersawn, and with variations such as burl, curl, and quilting…

It’s still something I plan on snagging my next visit and recommend to any woodworker.
