My 12 inch Ridgid compound slider has a footprint of 23 by 23 inches. The upper parts of the saw, like the fences and the front of the saw table, and of course the sliding parts themselves, are deeper and wider than the base.

The blade is a CMT with fine teeth and it cuts glass smooth.
